Hasselhoff Wants to Resurrect Knight Rider, Pontiac Trans Am
David Hasselhoff wants to make a movie based off the original Knight Rider series, with Simon Cowell voicing KITT. We approve!
Hasselhoff told a New Zealand site that he wishes to resurrect ‘Knight Rider’ into a film, with Simon Cowell voicing the iconic ’82 Pontiac Trans Am. He thinks Simon’s English accent would fit well. The Pontiac was originally voiced by William Daniels.
Hasselhoff worked for Cowell as a judge on TV’s ‘America’s Got Talent’, and later on the UK version ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’
The Hoff “has moved on from his role as Michael Knight, many people still associate him with it, including his own father.”
“My dad still calls me Michael, because of Michael Knight. A lot of people do – I even used to be Michael Knight on my answering machine.”
